看罷「腦作大業」Synecdoche, New York，讓我更肯定兩件事：
1) 老婆一定是第一任的最好！（假如男人有第二、三、四....任太太的話）
2) 得不到的情人最令人念念不忘。（或者該說，男人都懷念女人對他們的仰慕目光。）
LX說：這位導演（查理考夫曼Charlie Kaufman）還是較適合當編劇，而他拍的電影很「後現代」，可是「後現代」已經outdated了！
我：我不能完全看懂這戲，只是，我看到裡面有自己。
片中提及了的一大主題，相信是「死亡」。
我看片子，幾個「死亡位」，包括：
1) 男主角Caden Cotard 的第一任太太Adele Lack 告訴心理治療師：我唔想咁講，咁講好難聽，但有時我真的希望Caden快點死去，然後我可以毫無悔疚地開展新的生活！
2) Caden的情人 Hazel 想買房子，房子是一間煙火滿佈的屋子。Hazel對房東說：「我怕會有天葬身火海！」房東回應：「咁人選擇點死係好重要的事！」（來自維基百科的資料，談及導演受訪時，亦提到曉有象徵意義的此屋：The burning house Early in the film, Hazel purchases a house that is eternally on fire. At first showing reluctance to buy it, Hazel remarks to the real estate agent, "I like it, I do. But I'm really concerned about dying in the fire," which prompts the response "It's a big decision, how one prefers to die." In an interview with Michael Guillén, Kaufman stated, "Well, she made the choice to live there. In fact, she says in the scene just before she dies that the end is built into the beginning. That's exactly what happens there. She chooses to live in this house. She's afraid it's going to kill her but she stays there and it does. That is the truth about any choice that we make. We make choices that resonate throughout our lives."）
3) Caden遇到Hazel跟老公兒子幸福家庭，想起自己寂寞孤獨，想要跳樓尋死。
4) Caden的父親在Caden向第二任太太Claire Keen 求諒之後，死了。
5) Caden的媽媽因為有賊入屋，被殺。
6) Caden的大女兒，在他幻想的國度，因為刺青的感染，死了。
7) 經常跟蹤Caden的Sammy，自殺死了。
8) Hazel在自己那間佈滿煙火的屋中死去。
9) 第一任太太Adele患癌死去。
10) "Am I dying?", "I'm dying..."亦是男主角的口頭禪。
關於死亡，片中似乎有很多種演繹。
此外，在戲中，我聽得最清楚的一句還有：
男主角對他念念不忘的情人說：「你知道嘛，我的呼吸永遠有你。你是我的一部分！」（不是exact wording，但亦不遠矣。）
人生是怎樣的？大概每個人不一樣。
可是，像似無法再忍受Caden的第二任太太Claire，本是演員的她，終辭演Caden的劇，兼夾走去演出另一套輕鬆的愛情喜劇，證明人生還是「有得揀」！
